Mountain Surf Report
Matt here bringing you the Surf Report for Sunday, May 19th, 2024. Yesterday was a perfect example of what spring skiing here at The Bird is all about. Warm temps, snow that stayed great all day long, some groovy tunes down on the Plaza Deck, funky fits and most of all, a great contingent of stoked folks out there absolutely ripping. It truly doesn't get better than that. We should have another stellar day like that on deck for you today with sunny skies and a high of 54. Don't forget the sunscreen and a fresh coat of wax on your planks.
Take a load off between your afternoon hot laps, grab a beverage of your choice from the Subie Shack and jam with Tribe of I from 12-3 on the Plaza Deck as part of Plazapalooza. This is a show you won't want to miss.
Remember to ski and ride in control at all times. All blue and green runs at Snowbird are slow skiing/riding and no jumping areas. If you are going off some side hits or jumping in other areas, make sure you have a clear lead in and landing zone before committing.
Check our Lifts section for individual chair hours. There is no beginner terrain available at Snowbird. *All lifts and terrain are subject to change based on current conditions. Please note Snowbird is now closed for skiing and riding Monday through Friday. Snowbird plans to operate the Tram, Peruvian Express, Mineral Basin Express, Peruvian Tunnel and Little Cloud on weekends and holidays through at least Memorial Day as conditions permit. Uphill travel is not permitted due to construction. Learn more about Spring at Snowbird here.
