Mountain Surf Report
Good morning friends,
This is Matt with your Mountain Surf Report for Saturday, May 4, 2024. That refresh yesterday sure was nice! It's getting me stoked for the upcoming storm with the possibility of up to 27 (yeah, you read that right) inches between Sunday and Tuesday. I hope you haven't put the summer wax on your pow planks yet, you're going to want them again this week.
Have you started the Snowbird Surf Season Challenge in our app yet? I just finished off the last of the badges yesterday (it's been a slow week in my personal life, lots of time to ski...) and let me tell you, it's not easy. It takes some intention and might make you ski some places you don't usually. Make sure you track your days in app and earn exclusive spring badges with a chance to win swag from our partner Mammut.
Plazapalooza, our spring concert series, is in full swing and Meander Cat brought down the house yesterday (although, i'll be honest here, I'll jam out to most bands that cover the Dead and Phish). Join us on the Plaza Deck today from 2-5 pm and listen to The Pickpockets while you get your groove on. There are few things better than live music with some of Utah's most incredible mountain views.
Please remember to ski and ride in control at all times and obey any posted signs and rope lines across the mountain. See you on the slopes.
Snowbird is scheduled to operate for skiing and riding through at least Memorial Day, conditions permitting.
*All lifts and terrain are subject to change based on current conditions. More information on lift operations and scheduling will be provided as spring progresses.
Download the latest updates on the Snowbird App to receive live lift and trail information, read the Mountain Report, track your season stats and more.
