Snowbird Names Levi Thorn As New Director of Lodging

Snowbird, UT – Snowbird announced the appointment of Levi Thorn as Director of Lodging where he will oversee the resort’s 4 lodges. Thorn has an extensive background in the lodging industry and most recently has served as General Manager of the Park City DoubleTree by Hilton.

Thorn grew up in a small farm town outside of Chicago and graduated from the Western Illinois University with a dual major in Recreation, Parks & Tourism and Bio Mechanics. While in college, Thorne spent his weekends as a ski school instructor at Chesnut Mountain Resort. He now lives in Park City, UT with his wife and children.

“Levi has an ideal background for managing the complex lodging operations at Snowbird with a mix of hotel and condominium properties,” said Snowbird President and General Manager Dave Fields. “We are looking forward to seeing how Levi’s employee- and guest-centric attitude enhances the Snowbird lodging experience.”
